Doi Inthanon Thailand Cliff 100

2022 edition will be our extraordinary moment as Doi Inthanon Thailand by UTMB® has been announced to be Asia-Pacific Major event, one among the three of UTMB® World Series. Finishers will collect double amount of Running Stones, compared to other UTMB® World Series Events. Top10 male and female in the 100M, 100K and 50K categories will automatically win their place at the Final, UTMB® Mt Blanc.

The Doi Inthanon Thailand by UTMB®’s route course based around Thailand’s highest mountain, Doi Inthanon. SUMMIT 160, is the only race that allow runners to reach the summit of Doi Inthanon at 2,565 msl.

The route showcases the local biodiversity and the forest changes with a gradual climb from 400 to 2565 meters above sea level. The journey immerses runners in local culture, allowing them to experience the peaceful ways of life of the Hmong, Pga-Gan-Yaw and Karenic tribes as well as awe-inspiring views of the terraced rice paddy fields and cool temperatures in beautiful, tropical, humid forests.

The start and finish line are at Doi Inthanon National Park Headquarters, Chom Thong District, Chiang Mai Province. Doi Inthanon is one of the most popular national parks in Thailand, famous for its waterfalls, trails, remote villages, exceptional sunsets and sunrise, birdwatching and all-year-round cold weather on higher elevations.

Doi Inthanon Thailand by UTMB® offers 5 races for competition, 100 Miles, 100 Km., 50 Km., 20 Km. and 14 Km., which fall to 100M, 100K, 50K, 20K and 20K of UTMB® Kilometer-effort categories. Finishers will gain 8, 6, 4, 2 and 2 running stones respectively. Therefore, they will have more chances to earn a place on the start line at the UTMB® Mont-Blanc in France, the pinnacle trail running event.
